Ester Drang is making some waves at college radio, last week as the #15 most added in their first week of adds. Several CMJ reporting stations have been playing their record. In light of yesterday’s tragedy, the CMJ New Music Showcase has been postponed in NYC until October 10-13. More details regarding appearances by Jetenderpaul and The Trouble with Sweeney will be made shortly. Our thoughts, hopes, and prayers are with those in NYC and DC. The Denison Witmer performance this evening, Wednesday, 12 September 2001, will take place in Philadelphia at The Fire as originally planned. :::scott:::
Jetenderpaul will be playing The Mill in Lititz, PA this Friday, 14 September at 8pm or so. The show is only $2 for this rare opportunity to catch one of the best live indie pop shows available. Jetenderpaul will be playing Saturday, 15 September at Tonic in NYC at 8pm as part of the CMJ New Music Showcase. The Trouble with Sweeney will also be playing Saturday, 15 September at Galapagos in Brooklyn at 8pm as part of CMJ. I’m sure this divides your loyalties, but the indie popsters can see JTP and the alt. country folks can catch TTWS. Hope to see you at these shows.
