don’t forget to breathe

It’s been a while for updates, but we’re still here. It was quite an effort to get mewithoutyou 2xLPs out and we’ve been resting a bit. The band took to the road in late June/July and managed to have LPs for most of the dates. I was able to see the band play in Chicago and Central PA which made up for not being able to see the record release show in Philadelphia. Thanks to everyone for buying the 2xLPs. The band is out on tour now with more for sale. In the meantime, our good friends at We Are Lancaster just posted the video for “The Fox, The Crow, and The Cookie” which is the subject of the 4th sided etching on the 2xLP. Well work on finding the source and embedding it here, but for now, follow the link.
Bosque Brown are preparing to do some fall touring and Unwed Sailor is playing to go out in December with The Native Lights, Johnathon Ford’s new band with Bryce from Ester Drang and others.
Years ago, one of our early releases was the LP version of Huntingtons’ High School Rock. That long out of print LP is being released digitally as a remastered version including the LP bonus track. Burnt Toast Vinyl also released Rock ‘N Roll Habits for the New Wave and a re-mastered version will soon be released digitally, as well.

SXSW

I’m at SXSW when I’m not cruising Austin and the Texas countryside for the best in barbecue and other food that will eventually kill me. Bosque Brown is playing the Asthmatic Kitty/Force Field PR day party at Okay Mountain (1300 block on East Cesar Chavez) at 5:30 today, 20 March. Bosque Brown’s showcase is at the Habana Bar at 11pm on Saturday, 21 March. Hope to see you there.
Also, rumor has it that Johnathon Ford (Unwed Sailor, ex-Roadside Monument) will be making an appearance during the Frodus reunion set on Saturday, 21 March, at Red 7 at 12:45am.
Our friends Efterklang have been playing quite a bit. I caught them last night at the Habana Bar with Stars Like Fleas and Slaraffenland. They’ll be playing again at Emo’s Jr. on Saturday, 20 March, at 9pm.
