For some reason, I woke up with Sufjan’s “50 States” song in my head. Thank God for minidisc bootlegs or I wouldn’t have been able to fulfill my listening needs today. Last night, Willis, Mike, and I went to see the Morr music tour. Styrofoam was really incredible. Matthew, where were you? Slacker. 11 December, The Dead Texan (on Kranky, 1/2 of Stars of the Lid) will be performing in NYC. I can’t wait to go. It’s been almost three years since Willis and I saw Stars of the Lid in Copenhagen with Mikael, Jan, and Sarah, way too long. I met up with Ben Barnett last night and we talked about the Kind of Like Spitting one-sided LP, among other things. We’re working hard on this to get it out to you in April 2005. For all those concerned, Keyes is alive and well in NYC. It’s been way too long, man. Matthew, the btv mail order slave, is moving into the btv compound for a while. This means that your orders will be shipped out much more quickly. I’ve also been tweaking the catalog to try and eliminate titles that aren’t regularly in stock, easy to get quickly, or that I don’t really like. Starflyer 59 pre-orders were processed last night, we’ll be sending out the vinyl this week, as soon as the rest of the pressing arrives from the plant. Bosque Brown : Plays Mara Lee Miller is still underway. We’re having some productions delays for some reason, but I’m hoping to have some copies here for the holiday season. :::scott:::
