I just added three new btv shirts to the online store. Get ‘em while they’re hott in maroon, forest green, and gold. All with the btv toaster logo in white. We sell ‘em cheap so you can be our billboard. Also, more pink shirts on their way for anyone who is waiting for their order to be filled. We sold out of all of the Men’s sizes almost instantaneously last time.
I’m listening to the new Ulysses album which is a side project of Rober Schneider of Apples in Stereo. He’s still set for a one-sided LP sometime next year.
Jess and I are off to see Randall (Jetenderpaul) and his wife Beth this weekend in Boston. Matthew is nearly moved into the btv compound, so mail order efficiency will be greatly increased.

Tomorrow, Denison Witmer and Joey Sweeney will be joining Adam Arcuragi and Gerhardt Koerner at 2pm at The Khyber (2nd street) in Philadelphia. Be there as lover or loveless. I’ll see you there for the rock. Tonight, Denison is playing at Eastern College in St. David’s, PA at 8pm and The Trouble with Sweeney are playing at a free show at Silk City (5th and Spring Garden) and will go on about 12:30am. I’m thinking of being at both. The Sweeney’s just finished their hott 6-song mini-album which is untitled as of yet.

I’m working on a new shirt order for btv logo shirts, definitely some in camo, but not sure between light blue and regular green camo.
There will be a posting of 2002 and 2003 top ten lists from a variety of btv friends and rockers as soon as I finish my lists, most likely this weekend. Jared Miller of Jetenderpaul asserted that a year’s top records can only be assessed after a full year and I think that wisdom holds a lot of merit. Not sure if it was his own or not, but thanks to Jared, we’ll be doing that up.

I was in DC this weekend with Randall from the masterful Jetenderpaul, trying to eek out details about new recordings. There is one complete song and a few more in progress. He’s also working on a 7″ for Milk and Honey Records in Norway for his side project band The Shaker Manifesto. While waiting for Randall to hob nob with bow-tied historians, I visited the International Spy Museum which was a little too expensive and super crowded, but there were some nice exhibits. It kept me out of the cold. We did manage to work in some record shopping at a couple of stores.
Arrangements are getting more and more final for Mara Miller to record her Bosque Brown album with Eric Fisher, Damien Jurado, and friends in Seattle. It’s looking more like a release for this Autumn. The Trouble with Sweeney are readying songs for a Spring single release that will be a preview for their Autumn full-length. Denison Witmer is talking recording time again, too, but no firm details yet.
I’m off to Italy for a week on Friday night with a weekend stop in each direction in Amsterdam. Maybe I can escape the bitter cold that’s just swept in here.
