I’m back from California, arrived back Wednesday morning and was greeted by some super cold weather. During my travels, I visited my aunt, uncle, and cousin in Carlsbad, CA for Thanksgiving and made it down to Mexico. It was my first time to Mexico and Jess and I visited Ensenada, Rosarito, and Tecate and the countryside in between. We stopped off at a vineyard and saw signs for organic wine and other farm products. Soon, we found ourselves in a Mexican family’s kitchen sampling their wares, tasting some pretty incredible hot sauce, cheese, and wine. It seemed really off the beaten path. Andy was able to break away from his ultra fast paced lifestyle of movie stars and video shoots to take me to a great vegetarian Indian restaurant. He swears the Yume Bitsu cover is almost finished. I met up with the kind folks at the Militia Group. Props to everyone that I met there…Rory, Chad, James, Wyatt, and everyone else I can’t remember and am sorry.
There’s supposed to be a snowstorm here tonight or tomorrow or Saturday. Winter is really upon us.
