I’ve spent the last three nights watching the Red Sox do the impossible and last night’s game did not disappoint. I’m not so much a Red Sox fan as a Yankees hater, so it’s comforting. I’m still secretly dreaming of a Roger Clemens game 7 victory against the Red Sox in Fenway Park, the ultimate insult. I’m a National League fan at heart. Derek Jeter…most overrated player in baseball. While Ortiz was the Series MVP, Shilling in the Robert Redford “Natural” role bleeding while he mowed down the Yankees or Baseball Jesus, Johnny Damon, hitting the two homers last night make the end of the series very exciting. If only the World Series can be this good.
