I’m in an internet cafe in Hong Kong with my old friend Ben. I hadn’t seen him in about 3 1/2 years, but now we’ve been able to meet up. We sat in a park drinking PBR and I gave Ben proper lessons in being trashy and America. Ben introduced me to his New Zealand friend Tom and we all went to have amazing Pakistani food at the Butt restaurant. Later, we saw Nic, formerly of Unwed Sailor, play in his band here called From When He Came. Ben refreshed my memory about playing a dice game I’d learned in Copenhagen and a bunch of us wasted the night away playing. I’m sure Mikael and Willis are jealous…aren’t you? We’re going to some markets and the beach later today. Loving Hong Kong…I’ll be back in Singapore on Sunday night, though.
