I upgraded my powerbook to OS X Panther last night and it’s really zipping along. I’m excited about how fast the e-mail program is now. I lost a favorites folder, but figured out how to do something just as good. So, mac users rejoice, this is good stuff. Upgrading was painless and all is well. Matthew (btv mailorder slave/hero) and Carrie are coming over tonight. We’re going to the Oasis, this amazing Lebanese restaurant about a block away from my house. Then we’re going to sort out some mail order stuff. :::scott:::

I ended up not going to the Khyber to see U.S. Maple last night. I’ve seen them twice before and weeknight Khyber shows traditionally have the headliner (band you want to see) going on at 11:30 or midnight. No one would go with me either. I also got addicted to tapetrader.com hoping to find people to swap bootlegs with and almost finished reading Michael Moore’s Dude, Where’s My Country? book. Oh yeah, I’ve also been listening to the new 7″ from Brother Danielson. This thing is amazing and it’s just 2 songs, the A side being a Royal Trux cover, the B side…Continue reading

I’ve updated the btv online store with a few new releases including the new Tristeza album, Brother Danielson 7″, and Pedro the Lion Christmas 7″. The Pedro the Lion 7″ is only available with the purchase of a recent btv release since it is extremely limited and already sold out. Tonight, I’m going to see U.S. Maple at the Khyber here in Philadelphia if I can stay awake that late. Saturday, The Trouble with Sweeney will be playing at the Khyber with the Capitol Years and National Eye for the Nat’l Eye cd release party (on Feel Records). Also, Reels of White Softly Flow will be playing in Fishtown with Denison Witmer this Saturday. :::scott:::
