Cat Power was in brilliant form last night in the sanctuary of the unitarian church, beginning as a full band and playing many songs off of the new record, “You Are Free.” Things turned special when Chan sat at the grand piano and began playing many more songs by herself, before wrapping up with a few solo songs on electric guitar. I am just watching the end of the Indiana/Alabama basketball game and am very excited to see that Indiana has won. It’s been a rough year for college basketball, at least as an Indiana fan. Unwed Sailor and The Singing Mechanic were here earlier in the week. Thanks to everyone who came out to see them play with Denison. Be sure to see Unwed Sailor and The Singing Mechanic live for their last dates on the tour. You won’t be disappointed. Tomorrow night, I think I am going to see Sigur Ros here in Philadelphia with a few friends and am excited to go. :::scott:::
