Yndi Halda are bringing the rock to Texas at the moment. Austin tonight to wrap up the Houston/Denton/Austin trifecta. Things have been going well and I’ve been scrambing to get them more shirts and records on the road. Willis and I are screenprinting more tomorrow night to keep up with the high demand. They’re looping back to the east coast from Texas after the weekend. Foxhole are coming from Bowling Green/Nashville for a quick show in Richmond, VA on Friday and then to Ski Roundtop in Lewisberry, PA for a festival on Saturday. I can’t wait to see them play, it’s been forever. Starflyer 59 vinyl is en route for lacquer mastering, the first step in vinyl manufacturing. The extra track is called “Majic” for those keeping track and will round out the B side. Soporus artwork is at the factory now, as well. We’re going to be pressing up 24,110 in the heavy gatefold cardboard jackets similar to Unwed Sailor’s Little Wars. Denison Witmer is working on a bonus track for the vinyl version of Carry the Weight. We’re trying to get this off for lacquer mastering early next week. :::scott:::

Yndi Halda played Chicago last night and are still on tour, bringing the rock. We’ve added a couple of new shows, a free show in the Lawrence, KS area in Chanute, KS at Santa Fe Lake this Saturday and one in Lynchburg, VA at The Good Cherry with The Late Virginia Summers. They’re playing two other shows in the VA/NC area with The Late Virginia Summers. On the vinyl front, a lot of releases are in the works. Btv will be releasing the vinyl version of Starflyer 59’s Dial M, the culmination of the Ghosts of the Future box set effort. It will have a bonus track on the LP. We’ll have this for pre-order soon with a special discount for box set subscribers. Btv will also be releasing the vinyl version of Denison Witmer’s Carry the Weight with a bonus track and a digital download coupon. Both LPs will be shipping to coincide with the late October release dates of their respective cd releases. :::scott:::

I’ve made some updates to the Unwed Sailor tour plans in late May/June with Sybris, a few more dates have been filled in. They’ll be doing quite a few West Coast dates for the first time in a long while. Pop Matters has a nice review up of Little Wars. There’s a little show recap from the NYC Knitting Factory show at Loose Record. Another review is up at The Silent Ballet and one more at Beatbots. Foxhole hit the road starting on Friday for a week with Interstates. This is a special treat and hopefully the start of more live performances. Yndi Halda are planning to be in the US this August for a two week tour. We’re beginning the official plans now. The colored vinyl final installments of Starflyer 59’s Ghosts of the Future 7″ box set are on their way. Most of the black vinyl final installments are on their way as well and the remaining ones will go out today or tomorrow.
