I’m going to Basekamp to see the Participate exhibit tonight. Ben Volta, yes, that great Ben Volta, is part of the exhibition. I guess in record label news, Soporus will now be the fourth band in the 4 way split 2xLP release that will now include Soporus, Magic Lanterns, Foxhole, and Questions in Dialect. Soporus replace Reels of White Softly Flow who have put themselves to rest. Unwed Sailor is a critic’s pick for their show tomorrow night in Nashville. Their tour is nearing the end, but they’ve got a few more nights to bring the rock, so come on out. :::scott:::

The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore is #95 on the CMJ top 200, their 7th week on the charts. Thanks to all of the stations who are currently playing this album. I’ve updated the touring page with some December dates for Saxon Shore and updated the last few Unwed Sailor dates. Get out and see the rock! :::scott::::
There was a little gathering to welcome back Matt and Willis from tour last night. They’re been out rocking with Saxon Shore for several weeks and it had been a long time since we’d all gotten together. It was good to get everyone out to my house and pass around the oh-so-scary-but-strangely-tasty Jones’ soda Holiday Pack. It went well with popcorn, though. I saw the new Harry Potter movie. It was a little disappointing because I’d read the Goblet of Fire and knew some of the subtle details that were left out. It was still a lot of fun, though. I attempted to become a shredding master on Playstation while playing Jason’s Guitar Hero video game. It didn’t quite happen. We got to hang out with Johnathon on Friday a couple of times and Johnathon and I finished up the design for The White Ox and Circles. Unwed Sailor are resuming their touring on Monday night, so go see them in the last few days. I’ve been listening to much Johnny Cash the past couple of days including the 7 disc Sun Records box set and the Legend 4 disc box set. I just can’t get enough. :::scott:::
