Happy Birthday to Adam, Carrie, Courtney, and Matthew. I’m back from some birthday celebrations and a dance party of sorts hosted by Danae and Emily in the West Philadelphia. It was great to see lots of good friends who were in attendance. I took the train up to New York last night for the first time in a long time to see my good friend Brian who was up from Austin. We’ve been friends since high school, so it’s always good to meet up. Our other friends Dave and Kate from Jersey (by way of Austin) met up with us for a long night of catching up. Jeremy Dybash is our expert etcher for the one-sided LPs and is going to finish up the etchings for Bosque Brown, June Panic, and Unwed Sailor shortly. Ethan and I are going to sort out the new B side for the Aspera one-sided LP and finally get this thing out. It’s been way way way too long and the world needs to hear these amazing songs. :::scott:::

I’m in Chicago now. Mara has finished the artwork for the LP jacket and etching for her one-sided LP, Cerro Verde. It will be out in March or April, once the jackets and LPs are back. A bunch of things are getting mastered to vinyl at the moment, the new Unwed Sailor releases, the Bosque Brown one-sided LP, and the June Panic one-sided LP. It’s going to get busy in the spring again. There is now a Burnt Toast Vinyl page on myspace at www.myspace.com/burnttoastvinyl. Add the label as your friend and have one more way to stay in contact with all things btv. :::scott:::

It’s about an hour long and there is a larger, higher quality format and a smaller, lower quality format. It’s a little experiment to see if we’ll keep it up for the long haul. There is a part 2 ready to go and it will be put up later in the week. I had a link to this video from Norwegian rockers Hurra Torpedo up yesterday and took it down. I’m sorry Ben. Matt Neff (and Allison), it’s now here for you. Unwed Sailor have finished their big autumn tour. Thanks to everyone who came out for the rock. In the interest of capitalism in the holiday season, I am reducing the price of The Marionette and the Music Box hardbound book with cd because it is fitting for the season and makes a fine present. Production for their forthcoming full-length and ep will begin this week. They’re planning a March 2006 tour (with Matt Putman and Matt Depper back in full effect) and will hit Europe in the summer. Saxon Shore will be playing a…
