Mara e-mailed me the link to this story about Bosque Brown in the Dallas Observer from earlier in the month. Test pressings for the LP version of The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore have arrived. LP jackets and a new batch of cds to support touring and fill orders will be arriving in a week or so, if all goes well. I’m off to Chicago for a week or so tomorrow, but all mail orders should be caught up and will resume when I return. :::scott:::

Apparently some people think there isn’t enough updating action happening here, as of late. Those people have a name and it’s Ben Volta. Anyhow, there are a few updated Saxon Shore dates on the show listing page and more updates are pending after a few more of the missing shows are confirmed. I spend a large part of last night writing show information on posters and getting them sent out to all of the venues. The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore is available from insound at the moment and will be added to the btv site shortly. Dates for the Unwed Sailor tour in November will be added as soon as they are confirmed, as well. :::scott:::
I’m back from CMJ. Bosque Brown played an amazing set and it was a lot of fun getting to meet everyone in person and hang out a bit. I also got to meet Sean and Melissa who did the album artwork. I also realized that for two years I’ve been saying Bosque Brown wrong. Apparently, the Bosque River is in Texas and where the name comes from. The river is pronounced as Bosky, so the band name should be pronounced similarly. Anyhow, Bosque Brown is great no matter how you say it. The Unwed Sailor album, The White Ox, and ep, Circles, are on their way to be mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side. I’ve been mailing out posters for the Saxon Shore tour. They’re gearing up to go in about a week, should be pretty monumental. :::scott:::
