Happy Birthday to Adam, Carrie, Courtney, and Matthew. I’m back from some birthday celebrations and a dance party of sorts hosted by Danae and Emily in the West Philadelphia. It was great to see lots of good friends who were in attendance. I took the train up to New York last night for the first time in a long time to see my good friend Brian who was up from Austin. We’ve been friends since high school, so it’s always good to meet up. Our other friends Dave and Kate from Jersey (by way of Austin) met up with us for a long night of catching up. Jeremy Dybash is our expert etcher for the one-sided LPs and is going to finish up the etchings for Bosque Brown, June Panic, and Unwed Sailor shortly. Ethan and I are going to sort out the new B side for the Aspera one-sided LP and finally get this thing out. It’s been way way way too long and the world needs to hear these amazing songs. :::scott:::

There’s a complete Bosque Brown show that was posted from January on Gorilla Vs. Bear here. Since you probably haven’t seen the band live, unless you live in Texas or saw them in Philadelphia or New York City, feel free to give a download. And buy the amazing Bosque Brown Plays Mara Lee Miller. Bosque Brown’s Cerro Verde one-sided LP is underway and should be out in the next couple of months. Also, Bosque Brown are playing at SXSW in Austin, TX at Eternal on Saturday, 18 March. Hopefully I will see you there… :::scott:::
Oliver and Matt are in Philadelphia from Brooklyn practicing with Will and Matthew for some upcoming Saxon Shore dates. Oliver has been a part of Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing and The Exquisite Death, but hasn’t played live until now. The band is meeting up with Steve and practicing in central PA for the rest of the week. Bosque Brown has some shows coming up in January, including this Saturday in Dallas, and will be playing at SXSW this March in Austin. If you’re on myspace, become friends with Burnt Toast Vinyl. :::scott:::
