The Silent Ballet has posted their list of the top 50 instrumental releases of 2006. Foxhole’s Push/Pull was #7 and Efterklang’s One-sided LP was #19. If you look in the Extras, you can see top 10 lists from James of Yndi Halda and me. Matthew from Saxon Shore and Soporus should have a list up there shortly. They’ve also posted a review of Yndi Halda’s Enjoy Eternal Bliss here. I’ve updated the dates for Unwed Sailor’s late January/early February tour. Take a look. We are hoping to have the vinyl for Circles/The White Ox ready for the tour. :::scott:::

We have good test pressings for the Foxhole/The Magic Lantern/Soporus/Questions in Dialect 2xLP finally. Our good friends Will and Matt are working on some letterpress/screen printing designs for the very special LPs covers. We hope to have something ready to ship out in the new year. You don’t have to be a math expert to understand that it’s much more economical to buy the 2xLP than the cdeps…but, by all means, get whatever format is convenient for you. The cdeps are in stock for the holidays… We also have good test pressings for Yndi Halda Enjoy Eternal Bliss. It won’t be long now. Europeans…you can now buy the new Efterklang One-Sided-LP in Europe! If you live in Copenhagen you can find it in these shops: Soundstation Sort Kaffe og Vinyl Sacre Coeur Mint Records If you live on the internet you can go to Posteverything.com. Or we can ship it to you from the btv online store. :::scott::
The illustrious Oliver Chapoy from Saxon Shore has a little podcast called Sound on Sound going. We’ve been way to busy to make any lately and I’m sorry for that. I had a couple ideas in the works and never quite finished them. For now, Oliver has a recent podcast available and a new one up soon that will feature a song from the new Soporus cdep. Unwed Sailor is preparing for the mid-winter US tour. If you are located in or near one of the cities on their itinerary, contact us here at Burnt Toast Vinyl or the band directly through their myspace page to become a part of their street team to hang posters in exchange for free admission to the show. :::scott:::
