New btv Online Store and Sale

We’ve upgraded the btv online store to one that has more functionality than the current store. There’s a lot more happening behind the scenes, allowing you more information about your in progress order. We’ll be testing it out this week until 6 December and btv releases will be 20% off if you order through the new store. If you have any problems with your ordering experience, please let us know at order [at] burnttoastvinyl [dot] com. We’ll add in a free release with your order for your troubles. We would appreciate any feedback from your order experience. For international customers, the new store calculates shipping costs based on weight so there will be no mystery in the shipping costs. Additionally, we are unveiling two new logo shirt designs, a white shirt with a white log and a black shirt with a black logo. Bosque Brown compilation, Unwed Sailor European Tour

Happy Thanksgiving! Bosque Brown has recorded a version of “Silent Night” for a Christmas compilation called I’ll Stay ‘Til After Christmas. The compilation was coordinated by Daniel Gill from Forcefield PR and all proceeds will benefit Amnesty International. The compilation will be available digitally beginning on 2 December. Unwed Sailor on Tour, Starflyer 59 Vinyl and Soporus cds Arrived

Unwed Sailor is on tour through next Friday. They’ll be through Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. A week after their US tour concludes, Unwed Sailor will be off to the UK to start their European tour. It’s their first tour in Europe since Little Wars was released. Be sure to see them. Updated dates are available on the btv website, as well as Unwed Sailor’s myspace page. Copies of Starflyer 59’s Dial M LPs have arrived from the factory. I just returned from the post office and have sent all test pressing subscribers the final print versions of the cover and insert. Most pre-orders were also sent and the last few will be sent out on Monday. Soporus 24,110 cds have arrived from the factory and these will be released to stores in January 2009. We are shipping the cds now for mail order customers, so be sure to get yours soon. Denison Witmer’s Carry the Weight LPs are done and will ship from the factory early in the week. Pre-order customers have all been sent their digital download codes. Hopefully, physical copies of the LPs will be shipping by the end of the week. :::scott::
