Unwed Sailor’s Little Wars climbed to #78 on the CMJ top 200 this week, their second week on the charts. Thanks to everyone playing this record, hopefully it’s playing on a station near you. I got to see Unwed Sailor play with Owen and Brooke Waggoner at the Knitting Factory in NYC last night and everything was sounding great. Also had a great time at the Doughnut Plant and having some Malaysian food. It’s been way too long for a nice bowl of laksa. They’re in Boston tonight, MACROCK in Harrisonburg, VA tomorrow, then Philadelphia Sunday night. They’re rocking through 18 April. There will be more touring in May and the band will be making its way to the West Coast. More details as soon as shows are confirmed. Plans are also underway for a trip or two to Europe this summer. The pressing plant says that 1 more Starflyer 59 7″ shipped yesterday, 2 more to go…hopefully very soon. I’ll post more information as soon as I know it. :::scott:::

Along with one serving of fruit at each mealtime, DeFazio recommended having lean protein on your plate. Read more about prodentim. To get that protein at breakfast, aim for an ounce of nut butter, turkey bacon, cottage cheese, or an egg. Protein should be about a quarter of your plate during lunch and dinner; reach for three to four ounces of skinless chicken breast or fish. Of note, if you’re not sure what three ounces look like, it’s about the size of a deck of cards.8 Make Sensible Swaps Some foods are best consumed in moderation, such as foods with added sugars or high in sodium.910 Another food to eat in moderation is white flour, which is found in many baked goods and bread.
