Yesterday was the official retail release date of Bosque Brown : Baby. Cds should be in stock at your local store and LPs with a bonus 7″ will be available for a 31 March release date. Last week, Bosque Brown : Baby was #10 most added on CMJ (College Music Journal) charts. This week, Baby debuts in the CMJ top 200 at #95. Thanks to all of the stations playing Baby. Bosque Brown will be playing an in-store at Good Records in Dallas this Saturday in support of Baby and will also play the following weekend at the NX35 festival in Denton. There is a feature on eMusic with an interview with Mara from Bosque Brown here and a review of the album here. Also, David who directed the film St. Nick (debuting at SXSW) has posted a short review of Baby on his blog with a special outtake mp3 that Mara performed for the film. We’ve received test pressings for Bosque Brown Baby LP/7″ and Mt. Eerie Live in Copenhagen 3xLP and are now available for order in the online store. These will begin shipping immediately until they are gone. These are ultra limited and give you the chance of hearing these releases on vinyl before anyone else. Both releases will ship with digital download coupons. Covers/inserts will ship when available for test pressings. Erik Enocksson Farväl Falkenberg LP/7″ test pressings will be arriving soon and will also be available for order in the online store. Bosque Brown Baby cd and LP/7″ are also available for pre-order. The cds will be shipping out ahead of the 3 March release date and the LPs will ship ahead of their now 14 April release date due to some delays in the bonus 7″ mastering. The LP/7″ are in thick gatefold jackets and the cds are in digipak sized thick gatefold jackets with covers/inserts printed on deluxe French Parchtone paper.
