Unwed Sailor on Tour, Starflyer 59 Vinyl and Soporus cds Arrived

Unwed Sailor is on tour through next Friday. They’ll be through Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. A week after their US tour concludes, Unwed Sailor will be off to the UK to start their European tour. It’s their first tour in Europe since Little Wars was released. Be sure to see them. Updated dates are available on the btv website, as well as Unwed Sailor’s myspace page. Copies of Starflyer 59’s Dial M LPs have arrived from the factory. I just returned from the post office and have sent all test pressing subscribers the final print versions of the cover and insert. Most pre-orders were also sent and the last few will be sent out on Monday. Soporus 24,110 cds have arrived from the factory and these will be released to stores in January 2009. We are shipping the cds now for mail order customers, so be sure to get yours soon. Denison Witmer’s Carry the Weight LPs are done and will ship from the factory early in the week. Pre-order customers have all been sent their digital download codes. Hopefully, physical copies of the LPs will be shipping by the end of the week. :::scott::

Unwed Sailor tour starts tonight, vinyl updates

Unwed Sailor’s fall U.S. tour starts tonight in Nashville and they’ll be doing several dates in the south before heading to Europe. Check out the current dates on the website. Starflyer 59 Dial M LPs are on their way back from the factory. Pre-orders should be sent out in about a week. Denison Witmer Carry the Weight LPs are in line to be pressed and we’re hoping for final LPs shortly. Pre-orders will be sent digital download codes shortly. :::scott:::

Vinyl Update, Go Phils!

We’re on the edge of our seats anylwaiting the outcome of the last 3 1/2 innings of World Series Game 5. I’ll be out in the Fishtown waiting for the celebration. Go Phils. Some good news for fans of new releases. Starflyer 59 test pressings are approved. There is a significant delay at the plant for pressing, but it looks as though we’ve negotiated a run at the plant next week, meaning LPs should be shipping out to customers about 2 weeks from now if all goes according to plan. We’re excited about this. Denison Witmer test pressings are also approved. I’m working on a final delivery date for this LP, but we’re hopeful that these will be ready for Denison to sell in November at shows and will ship just prior to the release date. We’ll be supplying download codes by e-mail if the LPs won’t be shipping by then. The first batch, available by pre-order or from Denison directly, will be on yellow and white vinyl.
