We’ve been big fans of Jason Molina for many years since the early Songs:Ohia days and on through his solo albums and Magnolia Electric Co. We were all sorry to hear of his passing. I have a lot of memories of meaningful shows in Philadelphia and New York, especially a wonderful tour with our friend Damien. Graveface Records is working on a tribute/benefit compilation to help his family pay for remaining medical bills and funeral expenses. The debut ep from Ring Them Bells is available today in iTunes. The band played two events in Copenhagen this past week to celebrate the official release of the vinyl and Mikkeller beer, as well as to celebrate the opening of a new Mikkeller pub.
