Tomorrow, Denison Witmer and Joey Sweeney will be joining Adam Arcuragi and Gerhardt Koerner at 2pm at The Khyber (2nd street) in Philadelphia. Be there as lover or loveless. I’ll see you there for the rock. Tonight, Denison is playing at Eastern College in St. David’s, PA at 8pm and The Trouble with Sweeney are playing at a free show at Silk City (5th and Spring Garden) and will go on about 12:30am. I’m thinking of being at both. The Sweeney’s just finished their hott 6-song mini-album which is untitled as of yet. For a little recap of Super Bowl chez moi, visit here. i am typing this somewhere over colorado en route to los angeles. btv is a jetsetting label, as is demonstrated by the new splash page. my mom thought the holiday splash page was up too long, so i took it down. hi mom. she’s so high tech. randall is now our cover model. he’s in oslo on norwegian national day last year, sporting the proper colors, the shirt not the flag. sorry norway. speaking of norway, emil is coming to visit very soon, we’re all long overdue. LA is some kind of triangulation point for many friends. matt doty is there rokking with elkland, recording an album with them as he takes a brief break from saxxon shore duties. matthew is driving from mississippi and i hope to screen his short film, foster, based on a david drury short story from Little Engines #2 and including a denison witmer song on the soundtrack (thanks for asking, our evil lawyers will be suing your independence into poverty shortly). jess is meeting me at the airport. andy is already out there. plans are underway for meeting. i’m off to yosemite for a couple of days, going from cold to warm back to…
