Matthew and I are all caught up on orders in time for Christmas. I am going to put up some priority mail options for those who order between the close of the post office today (5pm EST) and noon on Wednesday (22 December). From then until New Year’s, orders will ship from 4 January on. There’s a need to organize the stock at the btv compound. It’s set for release in the spring and the vinyl will be ready for pre-order a bit before and ship prior to the cd release. I’m in Georgia for a few days for my work. In the meantime, Matthew is slaving away on mail order while I feed him the information. He’s the man, yeah! A bunch of us, I mean like 15 of us, went to see The Life Aquatic in NYC on Saturday. It was completely amazing, as expected. Wes Anderson always has these magical little details in his movies, the very smallest thing that is somehow just odd enough to make you laugh out loud. Really. I could go on and on and on about it, but that would probably spoil it, but all I have to say is Colby the three-legged dog. Maybe it’s mean to even say that much. Bill Murray was perfect for his oceanographer role. Bud Court was even in it. Yes, that Bud Court. After the movie, we trekked off to Monkeytown, an unmarked door in Williamsburg Brooklyn. There’s a loft space on the second floor with several futons arranged around the center in a square. There are white sheets as movie screens behind surrounding you by the video being played.
