It led me down that slippery slope of fandom and Mountain Goats record collecting, though I confess that it&#8217;s been way too long since I&#8217;ve put <I>Sweden<\/I> on the turntable.  Forgive me.  The show tonight was fantastic with members of Shearwater and John Vanderslice backing on various songs.  John even played &#8220;Nine Black Poppies&#8221;, in spite of not playing &#8220;Cubs in Five&#8221; (has anyone ever heard that live?).
