I just got back from Georgia and made a brief stop in Philadelphia to see the trail end of the Eagles game with some friends in a South Philly pub. It got a little crazy as the game went into overtime and was the first game I’d seen all season. I’m not much of a football fan. Anyhow, I’m watching game 2 of the World Series while I get caught up on order processing. My good friend Krister in Umea, Sweden just sent me the new Stina Nordestam album “The World Is Saved” that was apparently released in Europe on V2, but not in the US. I’m going to listen to it after the game and am really excited. Her last album was never released in the US, though I know Arena Rock was trying to make it happen. Anyhow, Stina is an amazing Swedish singer\/songwriter. You can find some of her older albums in the US and they’re well worth it. Krister also sent me 2 different cd-rs of his instrumental band The Magic Lantern.
