Last night, Ethan and I went to see Ester Drang play at the Khyber. Owen was supposed to play, but ended up cancelling. Bad form to cancel shows…The kids wanna rock. Anyhow, Johnathon Ford rode up from MacRock with the boys and Aaron Weiss from Me Without You joined up with us all for a nice night of rock, fun, and fresh soft pretzels. 8th and Washington pretzels are served fresh and hot, but they don’t open up until after midnight. Get yourself there the next time you find yourself bleary-eyed after a long show. It’s one of the cities well-hidden secrets. The Drang’s on tour for a couple more weeks, so be sure to catch them.
\nNCAA basketball finals tonight. I’m not sure who to root for officially, but if Georgia Tech wins, I somehow manage to win the pool at my Mom’s school. Guess that as good a reason as any other.
