Matt and I worked on getting the state of mail order improved and all Unwed Sailor 7″ orders should have gone out by the end of the day today. We received enough 7″ so that everyone could get them that placed an order.
\nWe also stopped into the studio to sit in on The Trouble with Sweeney’s mastering session. The audio for their second full-length, tentatively entitled I Know You Destroy!, is now complete. The album was recorded and produced by Brian McTear (Burning Brides, Mazarin, Swearing at Motorists) at Miner St. and is a bit more energetic than their Dear Life debut. We’re all really excited about how the album turned out. It’s slated for an April 2003 release and the artwork should begin sometime this week.
\nIn one-sided LP news, the etching for Early Day Miners gets sent off for plating later today. The AM\/FM one-sided LP is no more…instead, it will be a cdep with some cd-rom videos. I’m excited about that.
\nAlso, in on-line store news, we still have about 20 copies of the out-of-print Pedro the Lion 7″ for purchase with select btv releases. Still cheaper with a release then they will be on e-bay in a month…
