I just had a surprise visit from Saxon Shore. They had to cancel a couple of show’s because Josh (drummer) was sick. They’re getting everything together to go to the midwest the rest of this week, including a visit through my hometown in Indiana. We all watched the Syracuse/Kansas game and watched it go down to the wire. All while talking rock business. This past Friday, I was at the Phillies’ home opener, watching Art Garfunkel (yes, Art Garfunkel!) sing America the Beautiful as part of the opening ceremonies. I braved the cold with my dad, Willis, Cake, Dave, and Willis’ friends and watched the Phils take a serious pounding from the Pirates. The next day, my parents and I saw the Phils return the favor with a 16-1 romp. Some severely uneven playing from both teams. We also had a change to visit the M

Unwed Sailor and The Singing Mechanic will be playing in Philadlphia at the gallery formerly known as Reset Art on 203 S. Camac Street, just south of Walnut between 12th and 13th. The doors open at 7pm and the show will start at 7:30 and costs $7. Be there or be square. All American Radio : Fragments Of is at the factory and will be ready for a 6 May release date to stores. Finally. I am happy to announce that Burnt Toast Vinyl will be distributing and co-releasing (with Broken Factory Records) the forthcoming Saxon Shore album to stores on 6 May. Saxon Shore is an instrumental band who has gone on several regional and national tours in its brief existence. Their debut release, Be A Bright Blue, was released on Broken Factory Records in 2002. Burnt Toast Vinyl will also be distributing Honey For Petzi : Heal All Monsters and Toboggan : Picket Fences to stores in May through Redeye.
