My parents arrived for a visit last night as Saxon Shore was practicing in the attic for their trip to Taiwan. The Saxons left this morning. Jason from Foxhole is going to be their drummer for the trip. That’s a good segue for the next bit of news… Foxhole is the newest band on the btv roster. We are working on all of the details, but their cdep Push/Pull will be out in January to retail stores as one of the four cdeps and they will have a side of the four band 2xLP that should be ready shortly. Their debut full-length album We the Wintering Tree is one of my favorite albums in the last couple of years. Our tentative plans include re-issuing this and issuing it on vinyl. There will be one more new band announcement shortly…I just received a package from South Korea if that’s a clue at all. Unwed Sailor is preparing for the autumn US tour. I’ve added a few more shows to the Unwed Sailor autumn US tour, including an R5 productions show in Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s. They’re wrapping up a couple of shows in Europe and will be on their way back home shortly, ready to rock the US. The White Ox is now available in retail stores across the country. Saxon Shore is practicing in the attic getting ready for their big trip to Taiwan for the MegaPort Festival. Go see them! :::scott:::

Saxon Shore is going to be playing at CMJ on 2 November at the Knitting Factory. They’ll be on at 10:30pm in the tap bar and both Matt and Oliver from Saxon Shore will be DJing during a day party at the Knitting Factory from 1-5pm. They’re still on for Taiwan on 28 October. Unwed Sailor’s The White Ox is in stores next Tuesday, 17 October. Go buy it at a great store near you. There are a few more shows added for their US tour. It was great to see Serena Maneesh and Woven Hand on Thursday night. I got a pleasant surprise and my friend Tom from New Zealand showed up for the show. It’s always good to see Emil and the amazing Ben Sand. Props to Justin, DJ, and Ricky along with Brit and Vann for hanging in Selinsgrove on Saturday. We trecked up to Williamsport country for an apple and cheese festival. I attempted to wire up an arcade machine to our game pc, but need to get a different graphics card…in case you’re keeping tabs on progress in the Commissioner’s Lounge at the btv compound.
