Congratulations to Denison and Jenn. A brush with fame: We were in NYC eating at Angelica’s Kitchen which is supposed to be one of the best vegan restaurants in the city. While we were waiting for our table, the hostess said “Here comes Moby” and in he walked. We were seated across the restaurant, so that prevented adequate stalking. In any case, the food was very good and none of us ever worked up the courage to rub Moby’s head. Maybe another time… I spent a couple of hours getting Bosque Brown promo cds ready to go out to the press in advance of the Cerro Verde one-sided LP with cd release. Saxon Shore was practicing for the last few days to get ready for their July dates with Denison Witmer and From Monument to Masses. They’ll be out to the West Coast and back, so be sure to see them. Unwed Sailor are still on the road for some dates with mewithoutyou, so get out to those shows, as well. Jeff Price is my hero. :::scott:::

Saxon Shore sounded great on Saturday. It was the first time I’d seen them play as a five piece and a few songs were slightly updated and re-arranged in order to make use of Oliver on stage. Thanks to everyone who came out to see Saxon Shore, Bang Bang Beautiful, and mewithoutyou. I made the trek out and met up with a bunch of folks before the snow came. Props to Louise for making the trip from Brooklyn. The Saxon Shore Japanese tour has been confirmed. They be playing the following dates with Tristeza: 28 March OSAKA UNAGIDANI SUNSUI 29 March KYOTO TAKU TAKU 30 March NAGOYA IMAIKE TOKUZO 31 March TOKYO SHIBUYA O-WEST :::scott:::
