i got a late start on my drive to philly and left my house just around sunset.
you can see how excited oliver was about his first touring experience with the shore. oh wait, i mean bored.

stone sat in the newly added back bench/bed working on sudoku. willis did some reading. steve (aka the killer touch (aka football head)) took the first shift driving.

this was saturday afternoon on the way to lynchburg and required immediate attention.

what-ever.

the hike begins. at first, just steve and i. oliver joined in once he saw how cool we were.

just beside myself with excitement. willis eventually made his way up.

oliver gave the thumbs up. when the foam didn't reciprocate the affection steve started tackling them.

ok, now its getting old. and kind of sad.

finally something taller than stone.

we took this really metal band picture. then drove the rest of the way to lynchburg.
mountains are even more awesome when you're pulling a trailer. so is gas mileage.
