| After widespread sales of home recordings, compilation
appearances, and live shows, Somerset took to the studio in the early
fall of 1997 to record their long-awaited full-length. This album features
the raw emotion of Somerset. Although the musical style of emo has since
become somewhat trendy, Somerset blends other aspects of indie rock to
create a hard hitting record. These are songs about real life situations
and introspection. Recorded by John Bechdel (ex-Prong, Murder Inc., Killing
Joke). The album is packaged in a specially made cardboard cover by Brady
of Hammerpress with each individually numbered and hand printed by a letterpress.
The inserts are printed on fully unbleached recycled paper. |
