 The new site has been fully updated with an early '90s retro color 
            scheme. Gone are the ultra-bright oranges, yellows, and greens. So, 
            check out the site which showcases our four new releases for the summer 
            of two thousand one, Denison Witmer's of joy & sorrow, Huntington's 
            Rock and Roll Habits for the New Wave, Damien Juardo's Four Songs, 
            and Jetenderpaul's A Casualty Too Serious Too Afford.
 
 Denison Witmer's long-awaited full-length, of joy & sorrow, is now 
            out. The ten song release features an interactive portion with two 
            live videos. of joy & sorrow will be available from stores in September, 
            but exclusively from Denison and Burnt Toast Vinyl until then. Denison 
            will be taking to the road in September, October, and November to 
            support the release. Scheduled dates are listed below. If you would 
            like to see him in your area, please contact btv or denison.
 
 Ester Drang's goldenwest cd will be released to CMJ radio, going for 
            adds the third week of September. The fine folks at Fanatic Promotions 
            will be handling the record. Be sure to contact your local college 
            station and request goldenwest. The Drang will be playing three shows 
            in Texas during September, opening for Pedro the Lion (Jade Tree) 
            on their fall tour. If you're in Texas, come out for the evening and 
            stop by to say hello. The Circle of Birds collaboration between Ester 
            Drang, Unwed Sailor, and Lasso will be mixed in October after an additional 
            recording session. More details about this release will be announced 
            later.
 
 All American Radio have finished the recording and mixing of their 
            full-length album, Fragments Of. This long awaited full-length is 
            the follow up to their debut split release, Instruments and Landscapes 
            with Somerset from 1999. Mastering and graphic design will take place 
            soon in anticipation for an August/September release. Extensive touring 
            is planned in conjuction with the cd release.
 
 Scientific's From the Nest of Idea has been repressed with the 3 songs 
            from the 7" "How Will You See Yourself in the Next Twenty-Four 
            Hours" added. The band will be playing a few live dates with 
            Pedro the Lion during Pedro's fall tour. Recording is almost complete 
            for their next album, with final recording and mixing to happen in 
            early October.
 
 Everything has been sent off for the new Jetenderpaul 7"  " A Casualty Too Serious Too Afford" which will be released on Burnt Toast Vinyl and Hype City Records (Norway).  This should be ready in early September, we hope.  Jetenderpaul has been invited to play CMJ in NYC this year, also.  They will be playing on Saturday, 15 September at Tonic.  There is much excitement for the opportunity to see the increasingly rare live show.  Come out and support their showcase.
 
 Recording and mixing is complete for Damien Jurado's Four Songs one sided LP for Burnt Toast Vinyl.  The LP ironically includes four songs on the first side, with the reverse being an etching featuring a short story by Adam Voith.  Mastering and pressing will take place soon for a September release.  The LP will be the first in a series of one sided LPs.  More details on participants will be unveiled over the next few months, but the series should continue on into 2003.  Support unique vinyl and quality music by supporting the one sided LP series.
 
 The Trouble with Sweeney will be playing at CMJ in NYC on Saturday, 15 September at Galapagos in Brooklyn.  Be sure to come out and support their showcase as they play with Royal City (Three Gut Records, Canada).
