The Silent Ballet has posted their list of the top 50 instrumental releases of 2006. Foxhole's Push/Pull was #7 and Efterklang's One-sided LP was #19. If you look in the Extras, you can see top 10 lists from James of Yndi Halda and me. Matthew from Saxon Shore and Soporus should have a list up there shortly. They've also posted a review of Yndi Halda's Enjoy Eternal Bliss here.
I've updated the dates for Unwed Sailor's late January/early February tour. Take a look. We are hoping to have the vinyl for Circles/The White Ox ready for the tour.

We have good test pressings for the Foxhole/The Magic Lantern/Soporus/Questions in Dialect 2xLP finally. Our good friends Will and Matt are working on some letterpress/screen printing designs for the very special LPs covers. We hope to have something ready to ship out in the new year. You don't have to be a math expert to understand that it's much more economical to buy the 2xLP than the cdeps...but, by all means, get whatever format is convenient for you. The cdeps are in stock for the holidays...
We also have good test pressings for Yndi Halda Enjoy Eternal Bliss. It won't be long now.
Europeans...you can now buy the new Efterklang One-Sided-LP in Europe!
If you live in Copenhagen you can find it in these shops:
Soundstation
Sort Kaffe og Vinyl
Sacre Coeur
Mint Records
If you live on the internet you can go to Posteverything.com.
Or we can ship it to you from the btv online store.

The illustrious Oliver Chapoy from Saxon Shore has a little podcast called Sound on Sound going. We've been way to busy to make any lately and I'm sorry for that. I had a couple ideas in the works and never quite finished them. For now, Oliver has a recent podcast available and a new one up soon that will feature a song from the new Soporus cdep.
Unwed Sailor is preparing for the mid-winter US tour. If you are located in or near one of the cities on their itinerary, contact us here at Burnt Toast Vinyl or the band directly through their myspace page to become a part of their street team to hang posters in exchange for free admission to the show.

Yndi Halda are touring right now in the UK.
I've updated the online store to add a priority mail option to holiday orders. All btv titles are in stock, check if you are in desparate need of a title listed in the catalog, several are in stock, but not all are readily available to ship in time for the holidays.

We're working hard to get your orders shipped in time to arrive for the holidays. I'll be adding a priority mail option to the website soon. All btv titles are in stock. If you're looking for a non-btv title that is critical, please e-mail to make sure that we have it in stock. The cutoff for orders with priority shipping will be noon on 21 December and then we'll be taking a break until January.
The UK Yndi Halda tour starts tomorrow. Be there if you can. Yndi Halda are Rocksound's band of the week.

Props to Dave Fridmann who was nominated for a grammy with The Flaming Lips for their engineering work on At War With The Mystics. Fridmann engineered, mixed, and produced Saxon Shore's The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore and is good people.
We've been a little overwhelmed with all of the orders for Yndi Halda's Enjoy Eternal Bliss but should be caught up on Monday or Tuesday. Pre-orders for the Questions in Dialect and Soporus cdeps will be going out then as well.
See you at the RUBA for X/V tonight. Willi$ from Saxon Shore/Soporus and Matt from Saxon Shore will be rocking some DJ sets in honor of our friend Dawn's birthday. Happy birthday.

The dates for Unwed Sailor touring January and February are up. There are a couple of holes that will probably get filled in shortly. Props and high fives to Bojan for making the magic happen.
I also updated Yndi Halda's tour for December in the UK. If you live there, you have no excuse for missing them play.
Hope you enjoy the video for Foxhole's "Wesley" that I posted tonight. Order up some copies of Push/Pull and the other cdep selections for the very best in holiday gift giving.
I keep watching the Winter Meetings and am hoping that the Phillies will actually do something. I'm encouraged by the Dodgers getting Jason Schmidt and (gyb) Juan Pierre. Hopefully they don't waste their prospects on the whining Manny. Oh, and I'm done cheering for the Tigers when they add Gary Sheffield to their roster.

Congratulations to Liz and El who were married this weekend. Jessica and I were in Austin for the celebration. It was great seeing a bunch of old friends. I spent Sunday night and Monday hanging out with everyone from Bosque Brown in Denton and Ft. Worth. Thanks to Winston, Jeremy, Mara, and Ryan for showing me around. I had a lot of bad luck on the trip, forgetting my phone, getting into a hit and run accident on the highway, leaving my ipod, and missing a return flight, but the rest of the trip was great. I got some Dublin Dr. Pepper, was introduced to the magic of breakfast tacos, and had some tasty barbeque. It's always good to visit Texas. I saw Stranger Than Fiction yesterday and really enjoyed it, especially the Max Richter contributions to the soundtrack. Definitely one of Will Farrell's best roles.
I will be posting some new dates for Unwed Sailor in January and February shortly. They've figured out the touring band and will be ready to rock!
The Soporus and Questions in Dialect cdeps have also arrived and will start shipping to pre-orders shortly.
Special thanks to Matthew for being my shipping slave!
