I have test pressings for The White Ox version prior to some adjustments. New plates are being made as soon as the final master is done. Unwed Sailor are still rolling around on tour. See them, see them.
A Lily's Wake:Sleep came out last week on Dynamophone Records and I'm trying to get some to sell through the online store. Dynamophone has a downloadable mini compilation if you want to hear some of their stuff.

Congratulations to Denison and Jenn.
A brush with fame: Jessica, Cakeater, and I were in NYC eating at Angelica's Kitchen which is supposed to be one of the best vegan restaurants in the city. While we were waiting for our table, the hostess said "Here comes Moby" and in he walked. He was waiting outside and I kept daring Jessica to go out and rub his bald head, but she wasn't taking me up on it. We were seated across the restaurant, so that prevented adequate stalking. In any case, the food was very good and none of us ever worked up the courage to rub Moby's head. Maybe another time...
Jessica and I spent a couple of hours getting Bosque Brown promo cds ready to go out to the press in advance of the Cerro Verde one-sided LP with cd release.
Saxon Shore was practicing for the last few days to get ready for their July dates with Denison Witmer and From Monument to Masses. They'll be out to the West Coast and back, so be sure to see them.
Unwed Sailor are still on the road for some dates with mewithoutyou, so get out to those shows, as well.
Jeff Price is my hero.

I'm excited because the etchings for June Panic, Bosque Brown, and efterklang are done. Those one-sided LPs are a lot closer to release now.
There are a few more updated dates on the touring pages, go take a look when you get the chance. Unwed Sailor start their tour this Sunday in Little Rock.
Dan Burton just finished the final mixing for Unwed Sailor's The White Ox and now the songs are ready to be mastered at West West Side.

A few dates have been updated for the Unwed Sailor, Saxon Shore, and Yndi Halda tours in June and July. Be sure to take note and catch one of the bands when they come to play near you.
Here's a link to Ben Volta's profile in Beautiful Decay. It features the artwork he did for The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore.

Matthew and Will have finished their Soporus ep which will be called Atómové elektrárne and is 1 side of the 4 way 2xLP split release. The title means Atomic Generator in Elvish, I mean Slovakian and the ep thematically deals with nuclear power disasters.

I'm a little behind in my updates on the site, but things have been a bit hectic the last few days. I know it makes Jeff sad when I leave him hanging.
Ethan, Mike, Jed, and I went to see Boris and Growing last night. Boris was completely insane and amazing and the set was really loud and energetic. I was hoping to see a bit more of their experimental and noisy ambient stuff, but the show was great just how it was.
Matthew and Will are finishing up the Soporus ep that will be one sided of the 4 way 2xLP split. They're supposed to be done today and have a few rough mixes ready already.
In vinyl news, I've uncovered some of the 2nd LP for the Mt. Eerie 3xLP so I will have a few more copies for sale by the end of the week. Also, Denison and I have been talking quite a bit about vinyl releases. Safe Away is going to be re-issued with his Are You a Sleeper ep later this year. So, we are going to be releasing Safe Away as a special 180g LP to give it the deluxe treatment it deserves. There will also be a 2xLP release of Are You a Dreamer combined with Are You a Sleeper with outtakes and bonus tracks from both sessions. We're working out the side splits and all of the bonus tracks over the next couple of weeks and should have the releases started shortly.
