I guess my last few entries haven't been showing up. I think it was related to the site being down for a day, but everything is back and there are a lot of additional things added. There should be complete details for most of the available btv releases.
It's snowing and I'm waiting for the newest three albums to come back from the factory. I saw I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness play last night at the Fire. A really enjoyable set, be sure to see them if they come through your town on their short tour. They'll be doing a one-sided LP for btv as soon as they finish their full-length. The June Panic one-sided LP is recorded, but I haven't heard it yet, hoping to get the master soon.

I've been working to update some information on the website. Most releases now have more detailed information pages, including the three forthcoming releases: Saxon Shore's Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing, Saxon Shore's Be a Bright Blue, and Bosque Brown Plays Mara Lee Miller. You can now order these from the online store and they will ship shortly, as soon as they arrive from the factory.

I added the new Destroyer ep and Ida albums to the online store. The new Destroyer is Dan Bejar with Frog Eyes as his backing band and they've re-recorded songs from Your Blues with a more organic feel, it's really great.
Saxon Shore is gearing up for tour next week, check out the dates at the btv site or their site, www.saxonshore.com.

I made some minor updates to the online store. I added Foxhole : We the Wintering Tree and added a new category so that you can search all instrumental releases. btv has put out a fair number of instrumental releases and some of my favorite inclusions in the online store are also instrumental releases. Browse away...
I'll be going to see I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness on Sunday at 7pm at the Fire. See you there. They're going to be doing a one-sided LP in the btv series at some point.

I am back from Singapore, got back in time for Matthew and Carrie's shared birthday party, but was a little jet lagged or just plain tired. Happy Birthday to both of you again. A few of us have decided to do the ultimate in music geekiness and start a record listening club. The idea is similar to book reading and discussion groups, but involves listening to historically relevant musicians and discussing. Our first subject is Brian Eno and our first discussion involves the significance of his ambient works. We'll see how long we last, but it should at least be a fun experiment. We'll at least be able to mooch off of Adam's subscription to The Wire.
I'm trying to finish off all of the details for the next three btv releases: Bosque Brown Plays Mara Lee Miller (btv064), Saxon Shore : Be a Bright Blue (btv065), and Saxon Shore : Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing (btv066). We have some vinyl getting ready for completion, Starflyer 59's Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice. We should have it ready by mid to late March, I hope, a little bit before the cd version is available.

Apparently part of the site was down. I had an older file and I think I've restored it back to normal. Not sure what happened. Anyhow, we're here, haven't gone anywhere. You can order and read the news and all that good stuff. I should be back home on Friday.

I've updated the Saxon Shore dates on the Shows page. There is also a new Saxon Shore website up at www.saxonshore.com. The re-issue of their debut Be a Bright Blue and the new cdep, Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing, are at the factory and should be ready shortly.
I'm still in Singapore, but Matthew's been staying on top of mail order.

I've been sentenced to return to Singapore for work for the next two weeks. The kicker is that I'll be missing out on Philadelphia Super Bowl festivities.
Matthew and I are going to see Jason Anderson play tonight at someone's house in South Philadelphia. Come on out.

I'm home sick for the third day in a row. We're trying to finalize the artwork for the Saxon Shore cdep in the meantime.
I'm hoping to be able to see Low with Pedro the Lion on Wednesday, but we'll see how it goes.
The Mt. Eerie 3xLP was the 10th best seller at insound.com last week. Thanks to everyone who is buying this, Mikael, Washington Inc, and I are very grateful.
I forgot to talk a little about some really bizarre drinks I got in Singapore. Pepsi was marketing Pepsi Fire (cinammon) and Pepsi Ice (mint) and these have to be some of the worst tasting things that you can put into your mouth that don't involve a dare. Justin and Sanna also got me some green tea flavored Kit Kats and some strawberry flavored ones, but I haven't tried either. We were sampling the various flavors of potato chips which included grilled chicken (nasty), grilled lobster (kind of strange), swiss cheese (tasty, but a little weird), and chili (very good, hot and spicy, but also sweet).
