Bosque Brown Baby in stores, Unwed Sailor dates

Yesterday was the official retail release date of Bosque Brown : Baby. Cds should be in stock at your local store and LPs with a bonus 7″ will be available for a 31 March release date. Last week, Bosque Brown : Baby was #10 most added on CMJ (College Music Journal) charts. This week, Baby debuts in the CMJ top 200 at #95. Thanks to all of the stations playing Baby. Bosque Brown will be playing an in-store at Good Records in Dallas this Saturday in support of Baby and will also play the following weekend at the NX35 festival in Denton. There is a feature on eMusic with an interview with Mara from Bosque Brown here and a review of the album here. Also, David who directed the film St. Nick (debuting at SXSW) has posted a short review of Baby on his blog with a special outtake mp3 that Mara performed for the film. LPs shipping, touring, release dates, and online ordering

Sorry for the lag in updates. The Denison Witmer : Carry the Weight LPs have been shipping out to pre-orders and new orders. The first copies available through mailorder and from Denison at shows are on yellow marbled vinyl which compliments the yellow cover and insert well. Unwed Sailor are still on tour in Europe. They’ll be rocking the continent for the next week or so. Be sure to see them. We worked through a few kinks in the new online ordering system and will start to migrate over to that in the coming weeks. This new system should allow for a quicker processing time and provide more shipping details. 06 January 2009 is the official retail release date for btv085 Soporus : 24,110 cds, btv086 Denison Witmer : Carry the Weight LPs, and btv087 Starflyer 59 : Dial M LPs. Bosque Brown compilation, Unwed Sailor European Tour

Happy Thanksgiving! Bosque Brown has recorded a version of “Silent Night” for a Christmas compilation called I’ll Stay ‘Til After Christmas. The compilation was coordinated by Daniel Gill from Forcefield PR and all proceeds will benefit Amnesty International. The compilation will be available digitally beginning on 2 December.
