I’m a little behind in my updates on the site, but things have been a bit hectic the last few days. I know it makes Jeff sad when I leave him hanging. Ethan, Mike, Jed, and I went to see Boris and Growing last night. Boris was completely insane and amazing and the set was really loud and energetic. I was hoping to see a bit more of their experimental and noisy ambient stuff, but the show was great just how it was. Matthew and Will are finishing up the Soporus ep that will be one sided of the 4 way 2xLP split. They’re supposed to be done today and have a few rough mixes ready already. In vinyl news, I’ve uncovered some of the 2nd LP for the Mt. Eerie 3xLP so I will have a few more copies for sale by the end of the week. Also, Denison and I have been talking quite a bit about vinyl releases. Safe Away is going to be re-issued with his Are You a Sleeper ep later this year. So, we are going to be releasing Safe Away as a special 180g LP to give it the deluxe treatment it deserves.…
We finally have a good test pressing for Saxon Shore’s The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore, so LPs will be pressed and sent out shortly to pre-orders. Thanks to everyone who came to the Saxon Shore/Denison Witmer/J. Tillman show on Friday and Foxhole/Soporus/Colour Revolt on Sunday in Philadelphia. We ended up with a house full of people on Sunday night after those show talking music way late into the night. :::scott:::
