There are a few reviews out for some of the 4 band 2xLP split releases. Here’s one in Pop Matters for The Magic Lantern and one for Questions in Dialect The Ghost Wishes to Speak. Though the same reviewer for Questions in Dialect also had this to say in allmusic about the record. A short mention in the new issue of XLR8R (available for download in .pdf format) “Their double-LP set of four new bands – including gloomy rockers Foxhole, Swedish instrumentalists The Magic Lantern, brilliant ambient duo Soporus, and doom electronics from Questions in Dialect – is one of the most memorable releases this year.” A nice in-depth article analyzes all four components in textura. Also, the letterpressed cover for Foxhole We the Wintering Tree cd is at the printer. We should be on target for a release this autumn. Starflyer 59 is in the midwest for a few shows later in the week. They’ll be selling subscriptions for the 7″ box set at the shows. The test pressings for the second 2 7″ in the Starflyer 59 Ghosts of the Future box set, so we’re definitely set to be on time for the first two 7″ shipments to all of the subscribers. On Saturday, if you’re in the Philadelphia area, come out to see Unwed Sailor and Soporus buy zocor online with Rosetta (Translation Loss and Level Plane Records). I’m setting up the show at 2007 Frankford Ave in the Fishtown area above Circle Thrift. Hope to see you there.
