I’m home sick for the third day in a row. We’re trying to finalize the artwork for the Saxon Shore cdep in the meantime.
I’m hoping to be able to see Low with Pedro the Lion on Wednesday, but we’ll see how it goes.
The Mt. Eerie 3xLP was the 10th best seller at last week. Thanks to everyone who is buying this, Mikael, Washington Inc, and I are very grateful.
I forgot to talk a little about some really bizarre drinks I got in Singapore. Pepsi was marketing Pepsi Fire (cinammon) and Pepsi Ice (mint) and these have to be some of the worst tasting things that you can put into your mouth that don’t involve a dare. Justin and Sanna also got me some green tea flavored Kit Kats and some strawberry flavored ones, but I haven’t tried either. We were sampling the various flavors of potato chips which included grilled chicken (nasty), grilled lobster (kind of strange), swiss cheese (tasty, but a little weird), and chili (very good, hot and spicy, but also sweet).

I’m in my way home from Singapore. Come out tonight to The Mill in Lititz, PA to see Saxon Shore and Reels of White Softly Flow. More material will be recorded for some forthcoming Reels of White releases in 2005…and Saxon Shore is always great to see live. I think they’re showing off their new drummer tonight.
Ben Volta has mostly finished the artwork for Saxon Shore’s Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing cdep, we’ll be sending it off to the printer this weekend.
Mt. Eerie’s Live in Copenhagen 3xLP is still in print, so we definitely have copies in stock if you order from us. Secretly Canadian Distribution is out of stock and will be getting more sent to them as soon as we assemble some more. It takes a while to put three LPs into a jacket with an insert and put into the sleeve, but it’s enjoyable work. Thanks to all who have ordered so far. If you live in Europe, don’t forget you can order from Washington Inc,, in Copenhagen who co-released the 3xLP.

I’m still in Singapore for the next week or so. I went to Bangkok with my friends Justin and Sanna over the weekend and am off to Taipei to see my friend Ben this weekend. Matthew has been keeping up with the mail order and I’ve been trying to keep up with e-mail. I’ll get caught up a bit more tonight. In release news, the Mt. Eerie : Live in Copenhagen 3xLP co-release with Washington Inc. is available in stores beginning today, 18 January. These are still available from btv and Washington Inc., as well. On 1 February, Ester Drang : Pleasure Themes and Get Rich Schemes one-sided LP will be available in stores.
Saxon Shore have finished their new ep, Luck Will Not Save Us from a Jackpot of Nothing. It’s completely mixed and mastered. Ben Volta is finishing up the artwork and he’s almost done. It’s looking good. The re-issue of Saxon Shore’s Be a Bright Blue is on its way, as well, along with Bosque Brown Plays Mara Lee Miller. These will all be available on the website shortly and in stores later this spring through Redeye Distribution.
Unwed Sailor’s Magic Hedge will be re-issued on cd later this year. More details when they’re available. Johnathon is on tour with Chase Pagan this spring playing bass.
June Panic has finished recording his one-sided LP and the master is on its way.
