There’s an amazing indie film called Jumping Off Bridges that is having several screenings during October and November, including 2 November in Montclair, NJ, 3/4 November at the Pioneer Theater in NYC, and 15 November in DC for those in the Philadelphia/NYC area, and others coming to LA, Sarasota, Beaumont TX, and Atlanta. Bosque Brown is on the soundtrack, as well as Sufjan Stevens, Explosions in the Sky, Jose Gonzalez, American Analog Set, The Microphones, Amiina, and a few more. Our friend Daniel Gill was the music producer and did a wonderful job…it’s a great soundtrack. It’s also a great movie. We got to see one of the first screenings at SXSW in Austin this spring. There is a trailer now on their myspace page. :::scott:::

I’ve updated quite a few dates for Unwed Sailor in Europe and added several new dates for their U.S. tour in November/December. I’ve also added a new Bosque Brown show and Saxon Shore’s appearance at the MegaPort Festival in Taiwan. I’ll be at the unitarian in Philadelphia tonight to see my friends Serena Maneesh with Bardo Pond and Woven Hand. See you there! :::scott:::

I updated the online catalog a bit. The Mt. Eerie 3xLP is now available again. These are the very last copies, so get them while they last. I also added the new one-sided LPs from Efterklang, Bosque Brown, and June Panic. These will ship as soon as they are ready, hopefully within the next 2-4 weeks. I also added Unwed Sailor’s The White Ox CD and the Unwed Sailor 2xLP version of The White Ox with Circles. There are a couple new releases from other labels, as well. The catalog will be streamlined a bit over the next couple of weeks. Our goal is to highlight instrumental releases from other labels, as well as very highly recommended and loved releases from all of us at btv. :::scott:::
